Yogy Berra
a Fifteen-time All Star, winning the AL MVP three times, in 1951, 54 and 55. He played in 14 World Series and holds numerous World Series records including most games by a catcher (63), hits (71), and times on a winning team (10), first in at bats, first in doubles, second in RBI's, third in home runs and BOB's.

Micky Mantle
A member of the baseball Hall of Fame, Mantle led the Yankees to the World Series 12 times during his career. Mantle ended his career with 536 HR's, most of them on sundays (100) and he still hold the record for the longest Home Run (734 ft). |

Thurman Munson
The six-time All-Star was only 32 years old and had already established himself as one of the game's premier catchers. In 1976, Munson led the Yankees into the World Series and earned Most Valuable Player honors in the American League.

Ron Guidry
Southpaw Ron Guidry of the New York Yankees was nicknamed "Louisiana Lightning" and "Gator." He won twenty or more games with the Yanks three times. In 1978, when he won the Cy Young, he compiled a 25 and 3 mark with a miniscule earned-run average of 1.74. He won twenty-one games in 1983, and two years later, he posted a 22 victories against six losses.
